The Homido V2 works to create an immersive, visual and entertaining experience for users of all ages. As a step up from it’s previous generation the newer version comes with a host of new improvements. From a more robust and complete design, to a sleek, opaque cover to protect your phone, the Homido V2 not only feels more comfortable to wear and is extremely easy to adjust, it also interacts much better with the host device.
Offering tools that a lot of other headsets don’t come with, the Homido V2 comes with custom made lenses and allows you to adjust your IPD to allow for complete immersion. This type of adjustment gives new users the ability to interact with Virtual Reality content and adjust the headset to their preference with less chances feeling physically uncomfortable. This can be easily adjusted by using the adjustment wheels on the bottom of the V2. Additionally you can also wear this headset with glasses, with another adjustable wheel at the top of the headset for farsightness or nearsightness.
Mounting directly onto the user's head (rather than holding it to the face) this headset is also built to withstand longer uses and also includes the option to interchange the face contact foam depending on the user and comes with two including a cleaning cloth to clean those steamy lenses, all in a nice carry case. But this headset does not come with any built-in technological features such as its own rotational tracking or additional proximity sensors to detect when the headset is on like the Samsung GearVR. It does however come with a simple to use conductive foam button that can interact with phone environments in a simple way. Homido have combated this by releasing their own Homido bluetooth controller that will work with your Android smartphone.
