Google Daydream View (2017)
The newest version of this headset builds upon Google's already popular Daydream View headset (which was first ever released to the world back in November 2016).
Compared to the original model which was heavier, hotter and also had various light leaks depending on how you wore it this sleeker, and slightly more comfortable headset is based on what the original release of the headset should of been. Whilst there's not a lot of changes going on here, the 2017 edition of the daydream view solves some problems that many users were facing including overheating of their phone and the difficulty in wearing the headset correctly.
The newer strap design now sits directly on top of the head and holds the headset firmly in place without the feeling it slipping of the wearers face, included the face pad has improved padding making it overall more comfortable but comes at a cost of nol longer being able to store its controller in the front flap.
Outside of its hardware updates you can stream your experience to the TV through the use of Google's additional device, a "Chromecast" making it easy to share what you're seeing with your family and friends. Along with the the magic wand that has seen virtually any change from the original design, you're able to interact smoothly with the virtual world, granted not on the same scale as you can with a Oculus touch controllers.
The headset itself utilizes an extremely breathable fabric which not only makes it light but makes it soft and atheistically pleasing to look at. If customizing your headset is also important to you, you should be able to find the updated daydream view (2017) in many different colors to match your daily style.
